Kristin Kreuk a.k.a. Chun-Li

Who knows Kristin Kreuk? Well, the first time I saw her is in the TV series “Smallville” as Lara Lang, a girl next door and the love interest of Clark Kent (Tom Welling). I like her acting in this series, especially her eyes, very expressive. Her acting career really boost up and she’s getting better and better.

Now, she is the main character for the movie Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li. She will be playing the role of Chun-Li, the first female character to appear in a fighting game, Street Fighter. Her most famous attack is the Hyakuretsukyaku (Hundred Rending Leg, commonly known as the Lightning Kick), where she repeatedly kicks her opponent from a tilted standing position with incredible speed. She will be joined by some talented actors like Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein, Rick Yune, Moon Bloodgood, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, Singapore’s Edmund Chen and Hong Kong film star Cheng Pei Pei. They will fill in the other characters in Street Fighter like Ryu, Ken, Balrog, Charlie, Gen, Cammy, Bison, and among others. This movie will be directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, director of Romeo Must Die,
Exit Wounds, and Doom. It will be release this year, don’t have yet the exact date.

Well, let’s just wait and see for the movie…
