Who loves Dragon Ball?

Ever since my childhood days, I always watch this anime. My day is not complete without watching this. Who else don’t know about Dragon Ball? Mmmmmm….I’m sure that most of you know this wonderful anime from mangga series. Dragon Ball is very exciting to watch especially the fighting scenes. I always look for that, the flying and kicking and all that stuff. Main characters like Gokou, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks has the ability to transform in super-saiyan. A kind of transformation that is only accessible to the characters who possess heritage from the fictional race called the Saiyans. The results, they have great enhanced physical abilities and energy. The physical appearance also changed. Their hair becomes golden-yellow and their muscles widen. And they have this aura surrounding them that makes it more fantastic.

Aside from the fighting scenes, the story is also good. It is about courage, love, friendship, and family. Gokou and his family always saves the world from invading enemies like Freeza, Cell, Majin Boo, and other bad creatures who wants to destroy our one and only planet. With help of Dragon Balls, they can summon the mighty dragon and they can make 3 wishes as their reward.

I gathered some dragon ball pics…

Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts

Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts came about in the
final season of Dean Martin’s variety show (The Dean Martin Show),
when it was declining in popularity. They added a celebrity roast feature
to try to pick up the rating, which proved very popular to television audiences.
After the show’s cancellation, Martin signed a contract with NBC to do Celebrity
Roasts Specials lasting for almost a decade.

Dean Martin Celebrity Roast ran from August 1, 1974 to December 1, 1974. Famous roastees includes Michael Landon, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Jackie Gleason, Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, Ronald Reagan, Lucille Ball, Danny Thomas, George Burns, Jack Benny, Johnny Carson, Ed McMahon, Don Rickles, Angie dickinson, Carol O’Connor, Redd Foxx, Hugh Hefner, Wilt Chamberlain, Telly Savalas, Bette Davis, Hank Aaron, Evel Knievel, Mr. T, Mohammed Ali, and and Dean Martin himself.

A celebrity roast is an event in which a celebrity is subject to insults, praise, true and untrue unusual stories, and tributes. The celebrity is surrounded by friends, fans, and family during the roast (party and presentation). It is considered an honor to be roasted.

The Man behind the Iron…

Robert Downey Jr

Robert Downey Jr, one of the most brilliant and versatile actors of his generation, chalked up a formidable onscreen track record that quickly launched the young thesp into the stratosphere. Although, for a time, Downey’s stormy offscreen life and personal problems threatened to challenge his public image, he quickly bounced back and overcame these setbacks, with a continued array of impressive roles on the big and small screens that never sacrificed his audience appeal or affability.

Through it all, Downey cultivated an enviable instinct for role (and script) selection. His turns in Emile Ardolino’s classy reincarnation fantasy Chances Are (1989), Michael Hoffman’s Soapdish (1992), Robert Altman’s Short Cuts (as the Iago-like Hollywood makeup artist Bill Bush), and Richard Loncraine’s Richard III (1995) wowed viewers around the world, and often, on those rare occasions when Downey did choose substandard material (such as the lead in Richard Attenborough’s deeply flawed Chaplin (1992), or an Australian media parasite in Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers [1994’s portrayal as one of the only worthwhile elements in the Chaplin biopic, and it earned the thesp a Best Actor Oscar nomination, as well as Golden Globe and British Academy Award noms.

Now, he plays as Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man in this upcoming movie. It is nice to see that Mr. Downey is back in the movie scene. Iron Man is scheduled May 2, 2008. Mark this on your calendar, a must-see movie.
